The Faces (personalities) behind The Prefects -- the new East African drama series.

"The prefects" is a new sensational drama collaboration between two East African nations - Uganda and Kenya.

It is one of the many collaborations that the East African nations have worked. We already know the two nations worked together to pull (secure) the rights to co-host Africa's prestigious football tournament - 2027 AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS (AFCON), branded a the pamoja bid late last year

The Prefects is a high school drama that protrays a student leadership body that rules the students of Mvule High school through fear.

A group of misfits led a new student - Lisa (who had been falsely accused) team up to take back control. Together, they fight to restore fun, friendship, and fairness in the school through a series of daring pranks and secret missions.

On Wednesday, 16th Oct, the first ever serie was premiered on a regional urban lifestyle TV - NTV Uganda

However, i had missed out on this episode, so i set myself to not miss out the second. ( It had been scheduled for 8:30 pm, Wednesday, 23rd Oct, but I came in around 19 minutes past )

So at around 8:49 pm, I got myself watching, I must tell you, it is a must watch of every Ugandan Gen-z , the casting is exquisite, and you would tell how professional the team was, that produced it. Rarely do we see a Ugandan drama movie of such excellent quality in the storyline, character, and production.

Watching this second episode, reminded me of yet another East African drama --Makutano Junction, me and brother Timothy, enjoyed 😉 quite alot when we were kids, way around 2006

Though i enjoyed watching the Prefects, i knew less of the characters in there, I tasked myself to search the web to know more about the personalities that made it to this new teens sensation.

The ladies in this drama were gorgeous beautiful and talented, it is in that spirit, that l desired to know them by name atleast, this curiosity inspired this blog

Luckily enough, the Internet is a big book that keeps a record of almost everyone, the characters of this magnificent show aren't exceptional 😉
